About My Approach
The way I view myself as a therapist is mostly that I am a trained mental health guide. We are going to have some really hard, challenging, fun, and weird conversations and no matter what it is, I'll do everything I can to give you the best support. Â You will be welcomed into a safe place to share these vulnerabilities with me and I'll sit there with you in that. Â I come from a place of empathy, compassion, and humor. Â I'll be my quirky self with you as we take this journey together.
My Services
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I come from a systemic point of view. Â I will use my skills to help you find happiness in your life, relationships, mind, and heart. Â I work with a wide range of issues such as trauma, anxiety, teen issues, parent-child issues, marital discord, infidelity, and more.
Individual Therapy
While life is doing its thing and you're trying to keep up, it can help to talk to someone about what all is going on for you. I'll help you work through your experiences and the thoughts and emotions that have come from those experiences.
Family Therapy
Often times families fall into cycles that bring misery and you just aren't sure how to change it. Â You can't change other people and it's hard to react differently to them. Â Therapy can help you break the cycle, understand what each person is going through, and find new ways to communicate with each other which brings happiness into your family system.
Couples Therapy
First of all, I want to encourage you in that even looking into couples therapy means that commitment is something that is important to you. Â That doesn't mean, though, that it's easy. Â I want to help you and your partner figure out what exactly the problem is that might be pulling you apart and find a solution that will help you feel happy together again.
